This workshop was run as part of a public engagement activity to introduce school age leaners to bioinformatics and to inspire them into careers that positively impact the world.

The materials include:

An exercise to extract DNA from fruit.

A booklet with instructions to run a sequence matching activity to identify the ingredients of popular food.

The sequence cards to be used in combination with the booklet.

These materials are provided with both English and Spanish text.
